Mermaid Diagrams & Mind Maps in Tabs for Jira — keep Mermaid flowcharts, sequence diagrams and mind maps in tabs on Jira issues and project pages, written as text.

Every Mermaid diagram, in a tab

Flowchart, UML sequence and class, state, ER, Gantt, pie, mind map, timeline, C4 — any Mermaid 12 diagram renders in a tab. Start from a ready-made example and edit the text.

Mind maps from a few lines of text

Outline an idea as indented text and get a mind map: release scope, research notes, onboarding topics. No dragging nodes around.

Reuse tab sets as templates

Clone all tabs of an issue or project page to another one — add them after its tabs or replace them. Tabs on project pages hold the project’s own diagrams.

Also included

  • Tabs on every issue and project page — title, optional description, one diagram each; rename, reorder by drag and drop, delete.
  • Six diagram types — BPMN 2.0 modeler, Graphviz, LaTeX Math, Mermaid, Vega-Lite charts and WaveDrom timing diagrams, with ready-made examples and clear syntax errors.
  • Clone tabs — copy a whole set to another issue or project page, after its tabs or instead of them.
  • Conflict-safe saving — Reload or Overwrite when someone saved first; up to 4 MB per issue.
  • Jira permissions respected, labels in any language, Jira’s dark theme.

Runs on Atlassian

Built on Atlassian Forge: tabs are stored inside your Atlassian site, diagrams render in your browser, and the app makes no external calls. See the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

Can each tab hold a different kind of diagram?

Yes. Every tab chooses its own type — BPMN, Graphviz, LaTeX Math, Mermaid, Vega-Lite or WaveDrom — in every Tabs app; the app only decides the type a new tab starts with.

Are issue tabs and project tabs the same?

No. Every issue has its own tabs and every project page has its own; Clone tabs copies a set from one to another.

When are my changes saved?

Only when you press Save. One Save stores all tabs, titles, order, descriptions and diagrams of the issue or project page; if someone saved in the meantime you choose Reload or Overwrite.

Who can change the tabs?

Whoever may edit the issue in Jira. A project page's tabs can be changed by everyone who may edit issues in that project. Everyone who can browse the project sees them.

Does the app send diagrams anywhere?

No. Tabs are stored in the app's Forge storage inside your Atlassian site and rendered in your browser; a Vega-Lite chart never loads data from a URL.
