Issue Tabs: Diagrams & Docs in Tabs for Jira
Issue Tabs: Diagrams & Docs in Tabs for Jira — organize Jira issues and project pages with tabs: specs, diagrams, formulas and decisions, each in its own labeled tab.
Tabs that organize an issue
Split what the issue needs into tabs — flow, data model, formula, rollout — instead of one long description. Rename, reorder by drag and drop, delete.
A diagram type for every tab
Each tab picks its own type: Mermaid (flowcharts, UML, mind maps), BPMN 2.0, LaTeX math, Graphviz, Vega-Lite charts or WaveDrom. Existing nomnoml tabs keep working.
Templates for every project
Keep a project’s reference tabs on its project page and clone a tab set to any issue or project in one step — after the tabs there or instead of them.

Frequently asked questions
Can each tab hold a different kind of diagram?
Yes. Every tab chooses its own type — BPMN, Graphviz, LaTeX Math, Mermaid, Vega-Lite or WaveDrom — in every Tabs app; the app only decides the type a new tab starts with.
Are issue tabs and project tabs the same?
No. Every issue has its own tabs and every project page has its own; Clone tabs copies a set from one to another.
When are my changes saved?
Only when you press Save. One Save stores all tabs, titles, order, descriptions and diagrams of the issue or project page; if someone saved in the meantime you choose Reload or Overwrite.
Who can change the tabs?
Whoever may edit the issue in Jira. A project page's tabs can be changed by everyone who may edit issues in that project. Everyone who can browse the project sees them.
Does the app send diagrams anywhere?
No. Tabs are stored in the app's Forge storage inside your Atlassian site and rendered in your browser; a Vega-Lite chart never loads data from a URL.
