Deadline Tracker puts every Jira issue that is overdue or due in the next two weeks on one board β across all your projects, or the ones you choose. Drag a card to another column and its due date changes in Jira.
Every deadline on one board
Five columns β Overdue, Today, 1-3 Days, 4-7 Days and 1-2 Weeks β across all projects or the ones you pick. You see at a glance what slips and who owns it, without writing a JQL filter for each project. Done issues stay out of the way unless you ask for them.
Reschedule by drag and drop
Drop a card on a column and the due date is set: today, in 3, 7 or 14 days, or yesterday for Overdue. Select several cards to move them together. Undo (or Ctrl+Z) restores the exact previous date, not just the old column.
Change the assignee from the card, edit the summary inline, or open the issue in Jiraβs own dialog.
Due marks on every board
Add view tabs next to the due date board β by assignee, priority, status, sprint, labels, components or any select field β and the Overdue, Due today and Due in N days marks follow your cards there.
Workload, exports and a dashboard gadget
- Workload view β people Γ weeks, hours against each personβs capacity; see which weeks are overloaded.
- Filters β people, whole groups, projects, statuses, issue types, priorities and created date; quick find, Mine and Unassigned.
- Saved profiles and shared views β keep your filters, share a view with everyone and send a link to it.
- Swimlanes, column sums, WIP limits and card fields β the board looks the way your team works.
- Export to CSV β the cards on screen as a spreadsheet, made in your browser.
- Dashboard gadget β issues per deadline column, with sums, on any Jira dashboard.

Deadline Tracker is built on Atlassian Forge. Changes are made as you, with your Jira permissions, and every one appears in the issue history. The app stores only your profiles and views, inside your Atlassian site; it makes no external calls. See the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
Which Jira permissions does the app ask for, and why?
Read and write Jira work, to search issues and change the due date, priority, assignee or status as you; read Jira users, for people in the filters; app storage, for saved views; manage Jira configuration, only because Jira requires it to list the members of a group for the Groups filter; and Jira Software board and sprint permissions for the Sprints view and rank. Every change is made with your own permissions.
Where is my data stored?
Saved views and filters are stored by Atlassian in the app's Forge storage for your site; issues stay in Jira and are changed from your browser, as you. The app makes no outside connections and Simplify has no server.
How much does it cost?
It is free for sites with up to 10 users. Larger sites pay per user through the Atlassian Marketplace, after a free 30-day trial.
What date does Deadline Tracker write when I drop an issue?
Overdue sets yesterday, Today sets today, 1-3 Days sets today + 3, 4-7 Days sets today + 7 and 1-2 Weeks sets today + 14 days, in your own calendar day. Undo restores the exact previous date.
Does it work across several Jira projects?
Yes. The board covers every project you can see; the Projects filter narrows it to the ones you choose, and Groups shows the issues of every member of a Jira group.
Does Deadline Tracker send due date reminders?
No. It is a visual board for seeing and moving deadlines; it does not send e-mails or notifications.
Can it change issues I am not allowed to edit?
No. Every change is made as you, with your Jira permissions. If Jira refuses, the card goes back and the message shows Jira's reason.
Where is my data stored?
Issues stay in Jira. The app stores only your saved profiles and views, in its Forge storage inside your Atlassian site; nothing is sent outside Atlassian.
