Report Assistant: Daily Standup & Status Reports for Jira
Report Assistant gets your daily standup, weekly status and monthly report written from your Jira activity — issues, comments and logged time, in your own template. Save it, roll it up into longer reports, share it with your team or copy it to Slack and Confluence.
Your standup, written from Jira
Ask the Rovo agent Report Assistant by Simplify for today’s report. It reads what you worked on in Jira — as you, with your permissions — and writes it in your daily template. Say “save as daily report” and it is in My Reports.
Every report in one calendar
The calendar shows at a glance which workdays have a report and which do not — weekends never count as missed. Weekly reports roll up from daily ones, monthly from weekly, then quarterly and yearly.
Shared with the team, side by side
Add the people who should see your reports; they read them next to their colleagues’, one column per person. Admins see who saved a report each day in Coverage — without reading the text.

Frequently asked questions
What does the agent read to write my report?
Your Jira activity in the period — issues you are or were assigned to or reported, created or approve, their descriptions, your comments and the time you logged — read as you, so it sees only what you may see.
Does it need Rovo?
The agent runs in Atlassian's Rovo, so Rovo must be active on the site. Without it you can still write, save and share reports by hand on the My Reports page.
Who can see my reports?
You, the people and groups you add under Who can see my reports, and Jira administrators on the admin page.
Can a weekly report be written from my daily reports?
Yes. Weekly reports can be written from your saved daily reports, monthly from weekly, quarterly from monthly and yearly from quarterly — or straight from your Jira activity.
Can I paste a report into Slack or Confluence?
Yes. Open a report and press Copy: its Markdown goes to the clipboard.
